The Investiture Ceremony of SRN Adarsh PU College for the academic year 2022-23 was held on the 23rd of August 2022 at College auditorium. The chief guest for the event was Sri Rakshith Inspector of Police, K.G. Nagar Police station, Bengaluru.

The ceremony was held with great zeal and zest. The Chief Guest Inspector Rakshith, Hon.Secretary Jitender Mardia Sir and Principal Dr.Prashanth sir. Sub-Inspector of Police: Mr.Manoj, Mr.Nagabhushan and Mr.Praveen graced the event along with the chief guest.

Hon. Chief Guest and Hon. Secretory addressed the students and motivated them through their speech.

Elected Head boy, Head Girl, cultural and sport secretaries and class representatives of 1st PUC A, B, C and D sections and 2nd PUC A, B, C and D sections were conferred with Badges by Hon. Chief Guest, Hon. Secretory and Police sub Inspectors.

The student council took the pledge to uphold the dignity and decorum of the Institution in high esteem. The function concluded with the National Anthem.

ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಾನೂನು ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅರಿವು, ಸಂಚಾರ ನಿಯಮಗಳ ಕುರಿತ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ದಿನಾಂಕ : ೩೦-೦೭-೨೦೨೨ರಂದು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ ಆರಕ್ಷಕ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಸಬ್ ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಮನೋಜ್ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರ‍್ಯಾಗಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಷೇಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಅಂತಹ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬAದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪರಾಧಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ವಿಧಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಕಾನೂನನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಸಂಚಾರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಶ್ರೀ. ಪುಷ್ಪರಾಜು ಅವರು ಸಂಚಾರ ನಿಯಮಗಳ ಪಾಲನೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿ, ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರವಾಹನ ಚಾಲನೆ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಶಿರಸ್ತಾçಣ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾಗಿ ಧರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದರು.

In commemoration of "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav� a Teachers' Convention was held at Ramakrishna Math, Bull Temple Road, Bengaluru. All the faculty members of our college attended the Convention.

The Convention began with a religious note of Bhajans by Swami Tadyuktanandaji Maharaj and his troup in which many songs were devoted to teachers and their importance. Swamiji also guided the participants to meditate for 15 minutes. He also briefed about the importance of meditation.

Dr. Manjula V.K., Lecturer in History, welcomed the gathering and the resource persons and also introduced the resource persons.

Sri Raghottam Rao Kashi was the first resource person who gave a lecture on 'Learn, de-learn and re-learn'. Sir pointed out that every teacher should learn persistently from books, others and nature.

Swami Mangalanathanandaji Maharaj from Shivanahalli branch of Ramakrishna Math, was the second resource person who mainly dealt with neuroscience. Smamiji explained how human brain is divided into the reptile brain and the upper brain.

The Convention began and ended punctually. There were around 200 faculty from many colleges. All of them felt happy about it and it was very useful. The participants enjoyed the holistic atmosphere and a delicious meal which was served at the end.

Talents Day was celebrated in our college on 26.07.2022 to provide an opportunity to the students to provide an opportunity to the students to showcase their talents. The function was inaugurated by the principal, Dr.S. Prashanth who inspired the students to exhibit their various talents.

The programme was started with a traditional Bharathanatya dance by Yashaswini of I P.U. The students performed solo and group dances . Many participants attracted the audience by solo and group singing. I PUC student Ruchir solved the Rubik's cube. It was a very colorful event in which many students emerged as the talented singers, dancers, and anchors. The dance performance of the dumb and deaf students was the highlight of the programme. Anush Raj of I P.U. science student won the hearts of the audience by playing the keyboard which was unique. More than 70 students exhibited their talents enthusiastically in various events.

All the faculty and the students were present and enjoyed the programme.

We celebrated 'Vanamahotsava'(planting of saplings) in our Institution site at Kumbalagodu on 8th July 2022. Our President, Sri. Padam Raj Mehta presided over the function and also addressed the gathering by suggesting them to be aware of environment. Sri. Jitendra Mardia, Hon. Secretary also spoke about the importance of environment and also suggested the students to save nature for the future generation.

All the dignitaries including Principal, Dr. S Prashanth, N.S.S. Co-ordinator Mr. Mallikarjuna K, Physical Education Director, K Srinivasa and all the NSS students planted saplings.

Our NSS students took oath from the Principal regarding the environmental protection on this green occasion.

The Orientation Programme was conducted by “ARIVUPRO” academy for 1st PU Students at our college auditorium on 2nd July 2022. Dr.S. Prashanth, Principal of SRN Adarsh PU College welcomed the gathering.

ARIVUPRO is a coaching academy which helps students to prepare exams like CA, CS, ACCA and CMA. CA Sandhya.P.Nagar explained about the professional course: the various levels of CA, how to prepare for taking up the CA exam at PUC level, Fee structure and duration of the course.

It was wonderful exposure for the PU students as they got in-depth knowledge about the complete CA Course and the wide array of job opportunities open for them, after the completion of the course.

he programme was concluded with a thank you note to the speakers and the management, for organizing an informative session.

An orientation programme was conducted for I PU students in our college for three days on 23rd – 25th June 2022. The team of resource persons were from the organization ‘AHEAD’ ( Association for Holistic Education and Development).

The principal Dr.S. Prashanth addressed the students. He motivated and inspired the students to get the maximum benefits from this programme.

The orientation programme was started with yoga training. Later the students were given the interactive sessions on different topics like Self -awareness, Indian culture & Heritage, Time management, Effects of social Media etc. The students were made aware of the importance of the qualities like gratitude and appreciation.

The students participated enthusiastically throughout the sessions. It was very helpful for all round development of their personality. Thus the programme was very useful and productive.

The Inaugural function for I puc students of our college was held on 22nd June 2022. The function was presided over by Sri PadamRaj Mehta, Hon. President of Adarsh Vidhya Sangh, Dr. T.V. Raju Academic director for R V Group of institutions and the Syndicate member of Bengaluru University was the chief guest. Mr. Anandraj, DDPU for Bengaluru South was the guest of honour. Mr. Manjunath Assistant director was also present.

The vice president of AGI Mr. Sanjay Dariwal, Joint secretary Mr. Mahesh Nahar, Mr. Ashok Jain Committee member were present.

Dr. T V Raju, the chief guest, motivated the students by guiding them how to take decisions and solve problems in life. Sir also advised the parents to guide their children properly.

Mr. Anandraju DDPU, asked the students to make use of the facilities provided by the college. He also advised the students to be obedient to their parents so that they can have long life and happiness.

Mr. Manjunath, Assistant Director, motivated the students by giving tips on how to convert their dreams into reality.

Mr. Sanjay Dhariwal, vice-president of AGI thanked the parents for their faith in the institution. Sir asked the students to have proper vision and to put efforts to make their future very bright.

Mr. Mahesh Nahar, Joint secretary of AGI, congratulated the students for being the 50th batch. Sir asked the students to utilize the facilities given by the management.

In his presidential address, Shree Padmraj Mehta stressed the need to have a strong determination on the part of the students from which nobody can stop them. Sir also suggested the students to improve their general knowledge along with their studies.

Theme – Yoga for humanity.

On the occasion of 8th International Yoga Day, a programme was conducted at the premises of S.R.N Adarsh college. The programme commenced with the Navkar mantra. The function was presided over by honorable president of AGI, Shri Padamraj Mehta. The committee member of AGI, Sri Ashok Jain and the Principal of SRN Adarsh Pu college , Dr. S Prashanth were present on the stage.

The chief guest for the special day was Dr .M. S. Santosha, Guest faculty, University college of Physical education, Bangalore City University. Sir spoke about the importance of yoga and performed few asanas for the benefit of students. The Principal Sir welcomed the gathering. Hon. President of AGI, Sri Padamraj Mehta and the committee member Sri Ashok Jain spoke on the importance of Yoga. A few students of second puc performed some asanas on the Dias. The programme concluded with vote of thanks and the National Anthem.

All the faculty members and the students were present on this occasion and came to know about the benefits of YOGA and also performed some yoga asanas under the guidance of Dr. Santhosha.

The farewell for II PU students of the academic year 2021-2022 was held in our college on 1st April 2022. The function was presided over by Hon. President of AGI Sri Padmraj Mehta. Sri Jitendra Mardia, Hon. Secretary of AGI and Dr. Nagesha N.S. principal of SRN ADARSH PU College were also present on the stage.

Srimad Tadyuktanandaji Maharaj from Sri Ramakrishna Vidyarthi Mandiram Basavangudi, Bengaluru graced this occasion as the Chief Guest. Swamiji addressed the gathering and motivated the students to be successful in their lives. Swamiji advised the students to have concentration, faith and to be part of an organization for the development of individual, society and the Nation. Our students were benefited by his inspiring speech.

Sri Padamraj Jain advised the students to have self-confidence and to perform well in the Board Exam. Dr. Nagesha N.S. encouraged the students to inculcate human values and to be humble in life to succeed.

Various academic,cultural and sports awards and prizes were distributed by all the dignitaries. The students participated enthusiastically in many games organized by the faculty. A sumptuous lunch was arranged for all.

We had conducted various Cultural & Sports events for the I PU students in the academic year 2021-2022. The Prize Distribution Ceremony was held under the guidance of Sri Ranganayakulu M. Incharge Principal of SRN Adarsh PU College on 23rd March 2022 in the college premises.

The function was presided over by Sri Padamraj Mehta, Hon. President of AGI. Sri Jitendra Mardia, Hon. Secretary of AGI also graced the occasion. All the dignitaries distributed prizes to the winners. All the faculty members and students were present.

Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated in our College on 30th Nov. 2021 (Tuesday) with patriotic zeal and fervor. The function was presided by Sri. Padamraj Mehta, Hon. President of Adarsh VIdya Sangh.

Dr. Uday B Garudachar, M.L.A. of Chickkapet Constituency was the Chief Guest of the Rajyotsava function. Sir hoisted the flag and inaugurated the formal function by lighting the lamp along with other dignitaries on the stage. Mr. Garudachar wished a happy Rajyotsava to the gathering. He opined that the celebration should be continuous as it is our state festival. He became reminiscent of his college days.

Sri. Jitendra Mardia, Hon. Secretary of Adarsh Vidya Sangh addressed the gathering and stated that Agardsh Group of Institutions gives importance to all the languages and special importance to Kannada.

Sri. Padamraj Mehta, in his presidential address, felt proud to celebrate Kannada Rajyotsava in our College. Sir praised Karnataka as a peaceful State and wished that it should prosper in all the fields.

The formal function was followed by a colourful cultural programme in which many students performed on the stage with the background of Kannada songs. The programme was a grand success.

Inter Class Sports competitions were conducted in our College for I PUC & II PUC students on the date :29-nov-2021 to 4-dec-2021. Many students participated enthusiastically and won the prizes.

Constitution day was observed in our college by conducting interclass Essay Writing and college making competitions for I & II PU students

The Freshers' Day and Talent' Day were celebrated in our college on 13.11.2021. It was a colourful event in which the II P.U. students welcomed the I P.U. students. The function was presided over by Sri Padamraj Mehta, President of Adarsh Group of Institutions. Sri Jitendra Maradia, Hon. Secretary. and Dr. Nagesha N.S., principal of S.R.N. Adarsh P.U. College addressed the students and motivated them . Many students showcased their talents on the stage and also entertained the audience. The dance performance of deaf students was the highlight of the day.

Sri Basavaraj Umrani, brand ambassador of AGI, inspired the students by his speech on 'concentration' and also by his unbelievable mathematical calculations though he is totally blind. All the faculty and students were present. It was a memorable day.

ದಿನಾಂಕ 28-10-2021 ರಂದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 11.00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಆದೇಶದಂತೆ ನಾಡಗೀತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮೂರು ಸಮೂಹ ಗಾಯನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳು, ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಬೋಧಕ, ಬೋಧಕೇತರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಭಾಷಣ, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರಾಸ್ತಾವಿಕ ನುಡಿ ಮತ್ತು ವಂದನಾರ್ಪಣೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಯಿತು.

An orientation programme for I PU commerce CA aspirants was held on 26th October 2021 in our college by Pradeep & team. All the I PUC commerce students participated in the programme with enthusiasm. The principal Dr. Nagesha N S addressed the students and motivated them to AIM HIGH. The programme was very useful and productive

Dandiya/Garba dance was arranged & Saraswati Pooja was also performed by management, pricipals, and staff members in our college premises on 13th October 2021 on the occasion of Navratri Festival. All the students participated enthusiastically in colorful dresses. Most of the students danced to the tune. Everybody was jubilant. It was a sight to see.

Engineers’ day was celebrated I our college on 15-09-2021 to commemorate the birthday of Sir M Vishweshwaraiah. Sri Jitendra Maradia, Hon. Secretary of Adarsh Vidya Sangh presided over the function. Sir praised the contribution of Vishweshwaraiah to the field of Science and Technology. Dr. Nagesha N S Principal of S R N Adarsh PU College inspired the students to be unique in their thinking. The faculty and the students were present. All of them paid homage to the greatest scientist and engineer whose contribution to Karnataka and our nation isinvaluable.

Teachers’ Day was celebrated in our college on 4th sepetember 2021. Sri Naginchand Kincha , Charted Accountant was the chief guest . Sir addressed the gatering and spoke about time mangement, and teaching skills. Thus he Motivated all the teachers . The management members and the Principal addressed the gathering.

Sports activities were conducted on the eve of Teachers Day. All the teachers participated enthusiastically . Prize distribution ceremony was held on 06-09-2021

The Inauguration of I PU classes was held on 1-Sept-2021 in our college. The function was presided by Sri. K K Bhansali, Hon. President of Adarsh Vidya Sangh.

All the dignitaries were present and addressed the students. Chief Guest Mr. Deepak Kumar delivered a motivational speech to the students to expose themselves to the outer world.

All the faculty were present. The program was a grand success.

India observes its 75th Independence day on 15th August 2021. To celebrate this day in our college conducted flag hoisting ceremony as a part of the central govt. initiative "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav". All the dignitaries took part in hoisting the national flag and conveyed their wishes to the students and faculty members.

International yoga day was celebrated online on 21st June 2021 to create interest among the students towards our traditional knowledge and practice. We conducted various activities like speech competition on "Benefits of yoga in daily life", Essay writing competition and Yoga performance. Warm-up exercise, sitting and standing asanas were performed by the students. A video was shared that explained the basic asanas and their importance. Many students participated with zeal.

This  year due to the widespread pandemic, large gatherings were not possible and also not allowed. Covid - 19 was already taking a huge toll on us but we decided to celebrate virtually.

The world environment day is celebrated every year on 5th June to raise global awareness to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet earth. On this occasion we conducted a quiz competition and an essay writing competition in English/Kannada/ Hindi Languages to create awareness among the students about the need to protect the environment as the ways to do . The event was conducted successfully with whole hearted participation and awareness for a greener World

Orientation programme was conducted on 25th and 26th February 2021 for I PU Commerce and Science students on “Facing life Challenges”. Sri Ramesh Umarani was the resource person.

Different Cultural and Literary activities were conducted on 29th January 2021. Students participated enthusiastically in all events like Rangoli, Solo Singing, Solo & Group dance, Mahanadi, poster making, essay writing etc.

Orientation programme was conducted on 22nd January 2021 for II PU commerce students on “Excellence through Values”. Sri Ramesh Umarani the resource person, motivated the students through interactive session.

One day faculty development programme on” Urgent VS Importance” was organized on 19th December 2020. Programme was attended by all the faculty members. Opening remarks for the FDP were given by the Principal Dr. Nagesha N.S. followed by an introduction of the Resource person Sri Ramesh Umarani. The programme was enriching and intellectually stimulating for the participating faculty. A concluding session in which participants shared their experiences.

Kannada Rajyotsava function was celebrated on 27th November 2020 in college premises. The Principal Dr. Nagesha N S addressed the gathering

The Saraswati Pooja was celebrated on 24th October 2020, in college Library . All the staff members came together to seek the blessings of the Goddess of knowledge, music, art and culture to have a successful academic and carrier growth. The event ended by distributing sweets to everyone.

Inaugural function was organized on 25th September 2020 in our college auditorium for online classes. The function was started by invocation song followed by lighting the lamp by all the dignitaries. The dignitaries present on the occasion were Sri K.K. Bhansali Hon. President AGI, Sri Jitendra Maradia Hon. Secretary of AGI , Sri Mahesh Nahar , Joint Secretary , AGI Dr. Nagesha N.S. Principal of the SRN ADARSH PU college. Principal has delivered a motivational speech to the students. This was followed by an introduction of the faculty by the Principal.

The farewell for the II puc students of the year 2019 – 2020 started off with an invocation by Shivasai. An annual report of the Institution was presented regarding the ongoing activities of the academic year. The Principal Prof. Nagesha N. S. welcomed the gathering and advised and motivated the students presenting the example of success and satisfaction to be conquered equally for their future success.

The chief guest of the day Dr. Smt. Tejaswini Anatakumar speaking on the occssion appreciated the values and holistic approach of the student who presented their opinions about their Institution. She also spoke about the importance of the natural resources available in the society which has to be protected.

The Secretary Sri Jitendra mardia and President Sri K K Bansali spoke about the changes that have to take place in the life of the students for their future endeavours.

The program ended with a vote of thanks to the chair.

"Fit India Marathon" – to create health consciousness among the citizens of India as called by our Hon’ble. Prime Minister Sri. Narendra Modi – was held by S R N Adarsh College, Chamarajpet on 17th Nov. 2019. The 5km run started from college premises and went through Makkala Koota, K.R. Road, National College, Ramakrishna Ashrama and passed through Uma Theatre and concluded at college.

The Worshipful Mayor, BBMP - Sri. Gowtham Kumar inaugurated the mega event. He motivated the students to develop health consciousness. Sri. L A Ravisubrahmanya – the Hon’ble MLA of Basavanagudi constituency graced the occasion.

Principal Prof. Nagesha N S, the staff members and the students of S R N Adarsh College participated enthusiastically. The medals were distributed to all the participants.

Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated on 14th Nov. 2019 in our College with patriotic fervor and zeal. Sri. L A Ravisubrahmanya, Hon’ble MLA of Basavanagudi constituency was the Chief Guest of the Function. Sir addressed the gathering and stressed about the importance of Kannada language and culture. He also motivated the students to be patriotic and be instrumental in building the strong Nation.

Sri. K K Bhansali, Hon’ble President of Adarsh Vidya Sangh presided over the function. In his address, he spoke about the large heartedness of the people of Karnataka. Sir also stressed the need of ‘Swach Karnataka’ and to free it from plastic.

Sri. Jitendra Mardia, the Hon’ble Secretary of Adarsh Vidya Sangh informed that the Institute, being managed by the Jains , has been supporting the causes of Kannada language, land and also promised that the Institute would support the same in future also. He pointed out that everybody should speak in Kannada and teach the same to others so that the percentage of Kannada speaking people in Bengaluru will increase to a great extent.

Prof. Nagesha N S, Principal of S R N Adarsh College welcomed the gathering. The faculty, administrative staff, management staff and the students witnessed the auspicious function.

Abhishek Chopra and Akshatha Y of II PUC spoke fabulously in Kannada. Importance of Karnataka Rajyotsava Celebration was stressed by these students. The Chief Guest appreciated their impeccable speech.

The formal function was followed by a colourful cultural programme in which the students participated with enthusiasm. Sweets were distributed at the end of the programme.

A Motivational workshop on Awareness to wellness of a being" was organised. Jain Samani Dr. Suyashnidhi conducted this workshop to the students of PU college and made t hem to understand the core concept of stress, how to overcome Exam phoebia, techniques to expand memory etc..

S R N Adarsh P.U. College celebrated “Adarsh Akarshan” , an inter High School Cultural, Literary and Sports Fest on the 29th and 30th Aug. 2019 in the College premises. Sri. Jitendra Mardia, Hon. Secretary of Adarsh Group of Institutions, Sri. Mahesh Nahar, joint Secretary – AGI and Principal Prof. Nagesha N S graced the occasion.

Almost 750 Students of Bengaluru South Zone High Schools had participated in this programme. It was a very colourful and exciting event and the students had the opportunity of participating in all the various events like Pick and speak, Dumb charades, solo and group singing, solo and group dance, paper arts, best out of waste, Power Point Presentation etc. and various sports events.

The students won laurels for themselves and their Almamator. The valedictory function was on the 30th Aug. 2019 and prizes were awarded to the prize winners.

Yet another effort by Adarsh Group of Institutions in its continuous endeavor to be concerned about the environment and educate its students on being eco-friendly.

On 27/8/19 the NSS Unit of SRN Adarsh College, Chamarajpet, Bengaluru, organized eco-friendly clay Ganesha making workshop for the NSS volunteers. Students joyfully learnt the art of making clay Ganesha and proudly displayed their workmanship. The work shop was organized in association with Youth for Seva.
